Maple App

Almost There, Just a Few More Steps…

1. Install Maple

Once you’ve finished downloading Maple, you must first install it before you can continue. On Mac, just unzip the downloaded file and copy the Maple.app file into your Applications folder. On Windows, simply run the downloaded MapleSetup.exe and follow the prompts. Once you’ve installed the application on either platform, start it up!

PLEASE NOTE:

You may receive warnings about this app being from an unknown / unidentified developer. This is a result of Maple not being signed. Maple won’t be signed until we see more sales (since signing requires a paid certificate), so this is completely normal and you have nothing to worry about. On Windows, you may have to click “More Info” in order to see a “Install Anyway” button. As always, if you have any issues, please contact us at support@mapleapp.info.

2. Insert Your Pancake Info

Once you’ve launched the app, click the new timer icon in your menu bar to see the timer. You’ll be asked to insert your Pancake URL and an API key. Your URL should be in the format http://my.pancakeinstall.com (use https if you have it!). An API key can be obtained by going to “Settings > API keys” in your Pancake install. Make a new API key (or use the one for Maple if it was generated), and then copy and paste it into Maple. Maple will automatically check to make sure it has been purchased for your specified Pancake installation. You can purchase Maple from the Pancake store. Click here to purchase Maple.

3. Login With Your Account

After inserting your Pancake information, you’ll be asked to log in using your Pancake username and password. Simply insert your username and password, press the login button, and you’re ready to go!
