Here’s some of the questions that we’ve had from past users. Feel free to take a look through and see if you can’t find what you’re looking for. How do I purchase Maple?

Maple can be purchased directly from your Pancake store. In order to get to your Pancake store, simply go to yourpancakeinstallation.com/admin/store. You’ll find Maple in the store. You can purchase it there directly. Once Maple has been purchased from the Pancake store, you’ll be able to set up and active Maple. Maple can be downloaded by going to the home page of the website and clicking the download button.

Please note that Maple can be downloaded before being purchased. If this happens, Maple will give you an error message with a link that you can use to navigate directly to your Pancake installation’s store.

If you’re having issues finding your store, click this link and insert your URL in the text field, and click the “Purchase Maple” button. You’ll be directed straight to your Pancake store where you can purchase Maple.

Can I use Maple on more than one computer?

Yes, Maple can be installed on more than one computer. You actually don’t need to purchase Maple to download and install it, only to set it up and use it. Since Maple licenses are tied to Pancake installations, you only need to purchase Maple once, and then you can use it on as many computers as you’d like.

Do I need an internet connection to use Maple?

No! since v1.7.0, Maple can be used completely offline. You can check off tasks, reopen them, and run timers all without a network connection. The next time you’re back online, Maple will sync all of your changes to Pancake automatically.

Are there any plans for a mobile Maple app?

This is a request we’ve received a few times, and we’re definitely weighing it as an option. If demand is high enough, Maple will be released for iOS and possibly Android. If you’d like to see Maple on your mobile device, send us a tweet or email us at support@mapleapp.info and let us know! The more demand we receive for a mobile app, the sooner it will happen.

Can I use Maple with more than one Pancake installation?

Yes, it is possible to use Maple on multiple Pancake installations, however Maple will have to be purchased for each different Pancake copy. For example, if you work for two different companies that both use their own Pancake (example1pancake.com and example2pancake.com), you’ll be able to sign in and out of each. You’ll have to manually change your URL and API key in the settings. If demand is high enough, multiple simultaneous logins may be slated for a future release.

Can I use Maple with a local Pancake installation?

Yes! If you have Pancake installed locally on your computer, you can still use Maple. As long as your Pancake installation is accessible to the computer you are using, Maple will be able to work.
